Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bliss Assembles ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our furniture assembly services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By requesting or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Our Services

Bliss Assembles provides professional furniture assembly services, including but not limited to:

  • IKEA furniture assembly and installation
  • Wayfair furniture assembly and setup
  • General furniture assembly from various retailers
  • Small moves and furniture delivery assistance
  • Installation services for shelving, TV mounts, and other fixtures

All services are provided in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and other factors.

Service Booking and Scheduling

When you request our furniture assembly services:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information about your service needs, including furniture type, quantity, and service address
  • We will provide you with a quote based on the information you provide
  • Service appointments are confirmed upon your acceptance of the quote and payment terms
  • We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window
  • You must be present or have an authorized representative present during the service
  • You are responsible for ensuring the service location is accessible and safe for our team

Pricing and Payment

Our pricing and payment terms are as follows:

  • Quotes are provided based on the information you supply and are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated
  • Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual service requirements differ from the initial description
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made
  • We accept various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and electronic transfers
  • Additional fees may apply for emergency service, same-day service, or services outside our standard service area
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Our cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without penalty
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged up to 50% of the quoted service fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions, or emergencies
  • If we cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund of any payments made

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the furniture to be assembled and service requirements
  • Ensure all furniture parts, hardware, and assembly instructions are present and available
  • Provide a safe and accessible work environment for our team
  • Clear the assembly area of obstacles and fragile items before our arrival
  • Inform us of any special requirements, access restrictions, or building regulations
  • Inspect the completed work and report any concerns before our team leaves
  • Treat our team members with respect and professionalism

Service Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our furniture assembly work:

  • We guarantee that all furniture will be assembled according to manufacturer specifications
  • If you experience any issues with our assembly work within 30 days, we will return to correct the problem at no additional charge
  • This warranty covers workmanship only and does not cover defects in the furniture itself or damage caused by misuse
  • You must report any issues within 7 days of service completion to be eligible for warranty service
  • Our warranty does not cover furniture that has been moved, modified, or reassembled after our service

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for defects in furniture or missing parts provided by manufacturers or retailers
  • We are not responsible for damage to furniture caused by manufacturing defects or poor quality materials
  • Our liability for any damages is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We maintain liability insurance to cover damages that may occur during our furniture assembly services
  • You must report any damage claims within 48 hours of service completion

Property Damage and Insurance

We take great care to protect your property during our furniture assembly services. We carry liability insurance to cover accidental damage to your property that may occur during our work. In the unlikely event of damage, you must notify us immediately and provide photographic evidence. We will assess the damage and work with you to resolve the issue fairly. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of service completion.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and marketing materials, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Bliss Assembles and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without our express written permission.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our furniture assembly services, you consent to our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your data.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes regarding our furniture assembly services:

  • Please contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue informally
  • We are committed to addressing your concerns promptly and fairly
  • If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada
  • Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of Toronto, Ontario

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our furniture assembly services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
